Edge diskGO 64GB USB Flash Drive More storage in a small package
There are so many USB drives on the market and all of them do what they are expected to do. The Edge diskGO 64GB USB Flash Drive does exactly that with the option of encryption thrown in. The case is a rugged corrugated metal rectangle. It looks solid and seems to be so. I ran some tests using HD Tach.

I started to run the transfer of 10.32GB of files again using the Edge diskGO 64GB USB Flash Drive with NTFS formatting. For some reason the test was taking so long (28 minutes with about 2.5 hours to go) that I decided to cancel it. I tried again with similar issues. I have no explanation for the very large increase in copy time.
Tests run on a Dell Inspiron D530 running XP professional/SP3. 4GB ram, Intel Pentium III Xeon Processor. Core 2 Duo
The Edge diskGO 64GB USB Flash Drive met expectations and is a very capable product. Unfortunately the suggested retail price is $169.95. I have seen others that size for less money. Maybe I missed something. For more info on this and other Edge products CLICK HERE
