Nokia 7205 for Verizon Wireless
This is a pretty successful attempt by Nokia and Verizon Wireless to provide a very slick looking phone with lots of features in an environmentally green platform. I have used the Nokia 7205 for about two months. The exterior is sophisticated and would fit in any fashionable purse or pocket. That does not mean it is fragile or not a fine working tool. The Nokia Intrigue 7205 for Verizon has a sleek and shiny black exterior with only the words Nokia and Verizon in small print on the back. The front exterior of this thin clamshell phone is an empty field of mirror-like black until some activity activates the nifty touch screen. When that happens the phone shows floating white text. The content and capabilities available are dependant on which function is being used. When closed after no activity it displays the battery monitor, time, and signal strength. When using features you are able to control functions by pressing the exterior touch screen buttons on the screen. To see the screen without opening the phone you can press the volume button on the side of the shell. When music is playing you can see and use the album title as well as the forward, back, and pause buttons. Press to move to another tune or to pause the current one. The phone is impressive as far as outside looks. Does the phone measure up when used over time?

The interior screen is clear and bright. The keyboard is a standard clamshell but has silver dividers between keys and a silver hinge. The keypad also comes in PINK. Approximate cost with a two year contract is $129.00 after a $50.00 Discount.

More details on Features and functions can be found here.
USB Cable (NOT INCLUDED) will charge the phone when connected to a USB port Unfortunately it will not show the storage chip contents or built-in storage unless you have the Verizon Wireless software installed. Covers for storage chip and USB/charger connector were hard to open and stiff to move out of the way.
Camera/Video 2.0 Megapixel Camera/Camcorder with Flash Resolution Adjustment: 1600x1200, 1280x960, 640x480, 320x240, 160x120 Dedicated Camera/Video Key Video capture & playback Capture Mode: Portrait and Landscape Self–timers: Off, 3, 5, 10 seconds White Balance: Auto, Sunny, Cloudy, Tungsten, Fluorescent, Darkness

The 2.0 MP Camera is fine for daylight shots. The flash was OK for close-up night shots but not too good for semi-dark or low light shooting. I experienced some flair and blue in some flash efforts. Stick with daylight photos if you can. The location of the camera lens as well as my own fumbling took many shots that include my finger. See my Flickr site for photo and video samples.
VCast Music with Rhapsody You will need the music package for these services. There are fees involved As with past Verizon offerings I found VCast music with Rhapsody to have a very broad array of choices. I always burn a CD after ever download. The sound reproduction using headphones was perfect. I had to lower the phone volume when playing a song without headphones. It was very loud and sounded crackly Syncing the PC and phone was no problem. I used the Lenovo ThinkPad R400 for all computer related portions of these tests. I used a 2GB MicroSD card but the Intrigue can use up to 8GB of Optional Removable Memory.
Habitat Mode
A way to show friends who are frequent callers in any one of several moving environmental backgrounds.
The Nokia Intrigue for Verizon Wireless is a solid good looking phone. It is not a Smartphone or a major texting phone. It is a beautiful and very functional Clamshell. I truly enjoyed using it. It makes a statement and draws attention. It also does the job.
