Lenovo ThinkVision L220X 22in Wide Digital/Analog LCD Monitor A big name for a Feature Filled Monitor
When I opened and setup the Lenovo L220X 22 inch monitor I thought “Boy this is way too big for my needs.” After using it for more than a month I find there are reasons for most of us to want one connected to our computer. The expansion of viewable work area is well worth the loss of desk space.
The L220x arrived in a very heavy box.

A good Video card is very important in order to get clear reproduction of photos and text at such high resolution. I found I had to tinker with the font size and other settings. I also needed to change the fonts to ClearType to improve the dotty appearance of text. These changes are easily accessed in Display Properties under Appearance and Effects and will need to be changes for most any new LCD monitor with high mega pixel numbers.
I found the ability to have as many as three screens open and viewable at once was great. Being able to proof or just confirm copies is very useful in my work. Viewing an Excel sheet while writing backup material in Word is another helpful option. I could go on and on but you can get the idea by using one of these larger screens yourself. I was most happy when I found I could see all 110 thumbnail pages of the reviews4you website at one time. It made navigation between pages much easier. That easy access alone makes this a good buy in my book.
