SanDisk Memory Cards+Reader/writer for China Trip Tests
Storage cards to hold memories safe and sound
Sandisk kindly provided:
4Gb MicroSD Card
4GB Ultra II SDHC Card
8GB MicroSDHC Card
ImageMate multi-card USB 2.0 Reader/Writer
The cards all performed as advertised. While traveling I used the cards in the Verizon Wireless Ozone Global Phone by HTC, The Casio Exilim FC100 test unit, the Genius G-Shot HD520 Video/photo camera, and my own Camera, an S10 10MP point and shoot with no issues at all. During the trip I was able to use the Digital Foci - Photo Safe II- 160 GB battery/AC operated Photo storage drive to save a backup of these cards when they were filled.
When I returned to my daughter’s home in Phoenix I wanted to copy all of our photos to her Dell desktop. Her HP printer has memory card slots for use in transferring files so I attempted to use that. It was very slow. I connected the ImageMate Reader to her Dell USB and inserted a card. The speed was amazing. I completed the copying of about 3500 photos and videos from 4 storage cards in record time. (I copied my Daughter’s card as well)
Back in Key West I copied all of the Sandisk cards to the Lenovo ThinkPad Loaner using the ImageMate Reader. After I loaded all the photos and videos to my Flickr account I reformatted the storage cards for use in future tests.
There is nothing I appreciate better than products that do the job without issues. SanDisk storage items do that over and over again
