Sansa Clip From SanDisk Same compact size outside with 8 GB inside
I love my Sansa Clip. It is small and clips to my shirt when in the gym or just walking around town. I don’t have to worry about messing it up with my pocket change or keys. It doesn’t do video or photos. It does Audio and does it pretty good. MP3s, Audiobooks, FM radio, or voice recordings are its work. The one I tested in April is a one Gigabyte version. It held up to 250 MP3 songs or 500 WMA ones. SanDisk, as always, knows that more is better when it comes to storage. The latest version of the Sandisk Sansa Clip holds 8 Gigabytes of Music, books, or voice recordings. That means it will story up to 8 times my previous Clip. 2000 MP3 or 4000 WMA tunes. I have yet to figure out how many audio books it will hold but it is many hours of entertainment.
When I went to the Sansa Store the 8 Gig Sansa Clip was not yet listed. My understanding the 8 Gig version retails for $99.99.

Since the Sansa Clip 8 Gig has many similarities to the 1 GiG version I refer you to that article for details. I can say that the 8 Gig Sansa Clip provides me more space than I have music or books to place on it. There are times I need the Sansa Fuze so I can bore my friends with family photos or videos from our last visit to the grand kids. For the most part I just need music or books to help me stay reasonably sane during an hour workout. The Sansa Clip with 1, 2, 4 or 8 Gigs of storage fills that need quite well.
