Sansa slotMusic player

Sansa slotMusic Player
Simple to Use
Player and MusicI still have an old portable AM/FM Tape player recorder that I occasionally drag out during a hurricane ot just to play some old songs that I still have on tapes. No fuss no muss. Just stick the tape in and play it. Well The Sansa slotMusic MP3 Player is much like that. It is just a case with controls and a slot and a headset. Also comes with one AAA battery. Add some microSD cards with your favorite music and away you go. No need to connect to a computer, use a USB cable, or really know much about electronics.

In the Box
• Sansa® slotMusic™ Player
• slotMusic™ player shell
• Earbuds
• AAA Battery (15 hours playback)
• Quick Start Guide

The Music packaging is about the size of a CD holder but softer. When you open it you will see the usual microSD case with a music label. Stuff the card in the slot at the bottom of the player, tuck the headset in your ears, and press the on/off button. Sound is good with the included earbuds but better with a higher end headset if you feel the need. Not much bass but it performs the task it is designed for pretty well.

Another Color Skin

Of course you can also move up a notch. My Sansa slotMusic Player came in a bundle with a tiny USB adaptor that, when a micro SD card is connected to it, will allow you to copy music from and to your computer. So you are now able to add your existing music library to this very basic unit.

Small Music Case and USB adaptor

Another great feature is the ability to plug these MicroSD cards into other devices and play the albums on cell phones, computers, or other players that accept the cards. The Sansa slotMusic Player has some nifty accessories like an armband, different shells, and a Sansa card case to carry those elusive little microSD cards. I do need to point out that I do not think it can shuffle or bookmark music.

The player works as advertised. The $19.99 price point is good. $14.99 per album is a fair price point. I just wonder if there is a market for the Sansa slotMusic Player. I hope so. It does the job!.
